Women’s shoes sneakers Converse One Star Platform OX “MadeMe” 562959C

The legacy of the Converse brand is above all the timeless model of Chuck Taylor All Star. Designers from the “star” in 1974 wanted something more and decided to create a new silhouette – Converse One Star. The shoes were designed for basketball, they reached to the ankle, based on the well-known sole of vulcanized rubber and “wore” the title single star on the side. Immediately after the premiere, they became a frequent visitor on the pitches. Their cult, however, lasted for a short time. 20 years later, in 1993, the Converse One Star sneakers returned to shop shelves and only then were given the cult status. As it turned out, the 90’s were an ideal moment because of the flourishing period of grunge music and the skateboarding subculture. They were worn by Kurt Cobain himself, or the skateboarder Guy Mariano, who can be seen on the Converse One Star on 1996’s “Mouse” clip. The next, third attempt of their return was 2017.
